- Council on Social Work Education
- CSWE is a nonprofit national association representing over 3,000 individual members as well as 158 graduate and 453 undergraduate programs of professional social work education. Founded in 1952, this partnership of educational and professional institutions, social welfare agencies, and private citizens is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as the sole accrediting agency for social work education in this country.

- Hearts & Ears, Inc
- Hearts & Ears is a Baltimore-based nonprofit organization for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people with mental health issues and concerns. We warmly welcome all sexual and gender minorities with mental illness, as people who are dually stigmatized with being LGBT and having a mental health issue can have a difficult time finding full acceptance. Friends, family, and community members are encouraged to attend.

- National Institute of Mental Health
- NIMH website provides information from the Federal agency that conducts and supports research on mental illnesses.
- National Mental Health Consumers' Clearinghouse
- Part of our mission as a Clearinghouse for mental health consumers is to promote consumer participation in planning, providing and evaluating mental health and community support services. We recognize that in order for consumers to be effective advocates and self-advocates, they need information on political issues that affect their services. As a clearinghouse, it is our role to disseminate information on these issues rather than lobby for specific policies.
