Ferrier R. Stillman Ferrier R. Stillman, Esq., is a partner at Tydings & Rosenberg LLP. She represents clients before the Board of Social Work Examiners and in litigation, including giving advice to mental health professionals about being served with subpoenas and testifying. Ms. Stillman also represents men and women in complex domestic relations cases throughout Maryland. She handles custody disputes; valuations of businesses, professional practices, retirement plans, and other aspects of property division; alimony and child support; and adoptions (foreign and domestic). Ms. Stillman has tried numerous family law cases throughout the State of Maryland and negotiated and drafted sophisticated separation, premarital, and post-marital agreements. Ms. Stillman also handles grandparents’ and other third party visitation/custody cases, international and interstate custody cases, paternity cases, appeals to Maryland’s appellate courts, and mediations. Ms. Stillman formerly served as Assistant Secretary of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where she oversaw all of Maryland’s health professional licensing boards, including the Board of Social Work Examiners. She is a frequently lecturer and writer on protecting mental health professionals from legal liability and Maryland family law. Ms. Stillman graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors from Vassar College and received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
